Many Mustaches Party Ensemble

Taking a break from Leadership news... I need to organize and edit my photos before I post them.  There are so many GREAT samples to share!  :)

Here's a fun party ensemble I created for a friend's workshop this month:

I highlighted the Many Mustaches single stamp set (#122917) and the Big Top Birthday Designer Series Paper (#122348.)  I think these mustaches are a HOOT!!

and my favorite thing that I made...

These were a hit with both of my kids!  I need to get a picture of my 17 year old modeling the mustache.  :)

As you can see, Olivia is my very shy child.  :)

Leadership Bag and Make and Take Surprises

I have to admit up front that every Stampin' Up event I look forward to the "bag" that we are going to receive.  This year did NOT disappoint!  I love our fabric bags created with new patterns from the upcoming 2012-2013 Catalog.

The outside "wrap" on the bag unbuttons and can be turned about for another pattern.  The bag itself is reversable, too.  Shut the front door!  It is so CUTE in person!  :)

The coordinating notebook holder was our surprise gift at Make and Takes.  This is what our tables looked like when we arrived.

I love the way we are spoiled with gifts at Stampin' Up events.  Do you see the charm?  And the tag created with My Digital Studio that is signed by Shelli Gardner!

Did you notice the little red gift box at the top of each place setting?  It's our Fancy Favor box - cut with the Big Shot.  Inside are yummy chocolates - made by an employee of Stampin' Up!  There were 1400 attending Leadership, and we received 3 different kinds of chocolate - WOW - that is a lot of home made candy!

This was a great group of ladies to hang out with for a few hours.  :)  We had 9 make and take projects - I think I finished only 3 of them.  I prefer to visit and take pictures during make and takes.  Now to finish all those packets from last week... and previous years!  They seem to collect a little dust before they get made if they make it back to my studio.

January Techniques Club

Every month my Techniques Club meets at my house for a fun evening and a challenge.  I call it a challenge because we create cards that are a "step up" from what I offer at parties and Stamp-a-Stacks.  Each month I teach two new techniques and we make two cards using these techniques.  Here's what we made in January (inspired by awesome samples on our demo website):

This card was all about our new Edgelits, Framelits and Adorned Accents Embossing.  You will love these new products from our Occasions Mini Catalog, and the stamp set used called Apothecary Art.

Framelits Dies

Tea Shoppe

Back to my shoebox swaps... I haven't shared them all with you!  These two gorgeous cards were created using our new Tea Shoppe stamp set.  It's a set of 10 images - great for birthdays, thank you's or anytime "friend" cards.  :)

Love is in the Air...

Need a fun Valentine gift this season?  How about sending a hand-stamped Valentine with a candy treat...

I created this sour cream container using our Paper Crimper and Sticky Strip, Scalloped Heart Embosslit and Heart of Hearts stamp set.  Oh - and added a touch of bling with a rhinestone gem.

I have a decorative plate of these treats in my entry way table.  I don't do a lot of seasonal decorating, but I do like to add a few hand-stamped touches here and there.

The card was created with our Elegant Lines embossing folder, Lovely Letters stamp set, Silver Glimmer paper and square punches.  It's quick and easy, too.  Gotta love that!!!!

Vintage Scrapbook Layout

Here's what we made in January:

I think it has a very vintage feel to it but would lend itself to elegant occasions or everyday black and white photos.  I used the Mocha Morning Speciality papers which are foiled and flock - very pretty in person!  My assistant Olivia (smile) helped me cut the Little Leaves sizzlets from our Brushed Gold Cardstock and Fancy Flowers.  Notice I also used the Embossing Folders for the flowers to give them texture and dimension.  I found this layout on our demo website - Stampin' Connections - access to this website is just one of the awesome perks of being a demo!!!!

Sweet Treat Cups

Recently I shared this project at a Valentine's Day workshop.  I used our Sweet Treat cups and Sweet Centers stamp set.  The goodies are Lemonheads - one of my husband's favorite candies so I have to hide them if I want to use them for stamping projects.  (wink)

You'll need the 1 3/4" circle punch to go use with the treat cups. 

Here's a great tutorial on how to quickly and easily incorporate treat cups into your stamping - don't be afraid!!!  :)
