Valentine's Day is so much fun. I love pink and red as a color combination, so projects this time of year are right up my alley. Here are the projects we did at my Valentine Treats Class.
Love You Much stamp set, Eyelet Border Punch, Real Red Epoxy Brad, Dots Impression Folder
*To make the paper ruffle, punch a long strip of cardstock with Eyelet Border Punch. Then run it through the Paper Crimper several times. Adhere Sticky Strip to your cardfront and then scrunch the ruffle with your fingers and push down on the Sticky Strip. Such a cool trick!
I (Heart) Hearts stamp set, Sending Love Speciality Papers, Full Heart & Mini Heart punches, Dots Impressions Folder
The Love Bandit stamp set, Pink Hearts Border Punch, Beautiful Wings & Scalloped Heart Embosslits
I (Heart) Hearts stamp set, Heart to Heart punch, Full Heart punch, Dots Impression Folder, Box #2 XL die
I (Love) Love Jumbo Wheel, Tiny Tag punch, Two Tags Bigz die, Just Buzzin' By stamp set
*This is my favorite project of the bunch! I felt like I needed something in non-traditional Valentine colors, so this is what I came up with. Honey straws were purchased from www.anthonysbeehive.com. He's a young entrepreneur with developmental disabilities from Lawrence, KS, who produces honey and honey products like lipbalms, sauces and more. He has a very robust business, and you can find his products at Hen House and Price Chopper, on his website and at the Lawrence Farmer's market.
