This month I added two new materials in Big Shot class: aluminum and fabric. I've recently become addicted to creating fabric flower pins - posts coming soon - so I decided to create a card using one of these flowers.
I used the Circles #2 die and 8 layers of fabric - cut all at once! Then I used my heat tool to melt and curl the fabric. This technique only works with synthetic fabrics.
I also cut up a Diet Coke can and ran it through the Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslit. When the Big Shot cuts through metal it finishes the edge, so it's not sharp. I used the Craft & Rubber Scissors to cut up the can.
Here's all the projects we made:
Fancy Favor Box XL die and Lattice Bigz Die
Mini Milk Carton transformed into one of those cute bird houses
Next Big Shot class is Thursday, March 25th. It's great for those who already own a Big Shot AND for those that are thinking about it. :)
Purchase the Big Shot during March and choose two free Sale-a-Bration gifts AND attend this class free.

So cool! I had seen using a candle to singe the edges but I like the heat tool better. TFS See you Saturday!!!
