I have been working on a 2011 Calendar using My Digital Studio and having a blast!  My kids have even provided input on what they like/dislike, too.  I think our collaborations turned out great!  :)

I've got a few more to share tomorrow, and I hope to have the entire calendar finished this week.  I just need to find the time to finish it.  I love making the calendar on My Digital Studio because I am making each calendar to match the layout.  Cool, huh?

Carol's gable box... it was so beautiful that I picked it for myself.  She had filled it with Cherry Chocolate Cake cordials.  OMG... just as delicious as they were gorgeous!

This collection was from Lisa:  a set of Christmas cards, Christmas tags and a Christmas gift package filled with bath salts.

Hand-stamped Gifts

Okay, so more of the hand-stamped gifts...

Mary Jo picked the gift brought by Hannah - it's an adorable calendar frame.

Carol chose a scrapbook album made by Colleen.  Here's the front photo:

Debbie brought a gift for Olivia, too.  So sweet!!

A couple gals brought Poinsettia's too.  One was from Jeanine, but I'm not sure who dropped off the other one.  It must have been the Christmas fairy.  :)

Hannah also came bearing gifts and gave me this red Christmas ball and a Christmas cactus.  I hope I don't kill all these plants!  I don't have the best of luck with houseplants.

Party Time!

Every year I look forward to hosting a Christmas party with my Stamp Crazy downline.   We eat and drink (should have taken a picture of all the goodies!), stamp and do a hand-made gift exchange.   There's also lots of conversation and sharing... I just love it!

So we stamped projects using a new set from the Occasions Mini Catalog called Eat Chocolate... pictures coming soon!

I also went through my BOXES of samples and tried to purge some of what I have.  It's so hard to let stuff go, but I really have to.  I have so many samples and several of the new gals can use the ideas for their classes and workshops.  So I set everything out for them to take what they wanted.  :)

And then we all sit down to do the gift exchange.  We draw numbers, and then take turns opening and stealing gifts.  Not too much stealing going on... everyone is so happy with their gifts.  :)

Lisa opened the gift from Yvonne.  She made matching placemats with flannel squares cut with the Big Shot.

Deb opened the gift from Mary Jo.  It was an adorable wire Christmas tree/ornament holder.  It was later stolen... :)

Chalked Tags

A few weeks ago I did a party for a fun group of friends who were interested in our Stampin' Pastels... Hi, Carol!  :)

So I showed them several techniques using Christmas tags.  The first set is called Poppin' Pastels and Chalkboard:

The white tag is Poppin' Pastels and uses Versamark and Sponge Daubers.  Rub the sponge daubers in the Stampin' Pastels and then pounce on the cardstock.  The chalk sticks to the Versamark and creates a really soft halo effect around the image.  An easy WOW!  :)

The black tag uses the same technique except that you use Whisper White Craft Ink so the chalk shows up on the dark cardstock.

On this tag I used chalks to create the ground - just use the sponge applicator that comes with the Stampin' Pastels or a Q-tip.  Then to create the clouds, I punched out a Scallop Circle from scrap cardstock and then used it as a mask and sponged several times with several shades of blue to create the sky.  Finally, I stamped the images on top of the chalk.  I really like this finished tag.

Christmas Album Embellishment

My name is Shelly, and I am an embellisher... LOL

So I was playing around with some of our accessories and decided to dress up one of our albums.  I am really pleased with the outcome.  :)

I added one thing after I took the picture.  A large rhinestone gem on the presents (presents are vinyl wall art from our Decor Elements line.)  Most of these products are only available through January 3rd in the Holiday Mini Catalog.
