Alaska Part Two

I have hundreds of photos, and it is so hard to pick just a few to share with you.  :)

This is pillow gift #4 - I can't show you the others because they are NEW catalog products!  :)

We rode the White Pass Railroad in Skagway.  The scenery was so beautiful.

We spent most of the trip back standing outside the rail cars for better views.

Our last stop was beautiful Victora, British Columbia.  We rode the double-decker bus around town and saw the gardens and stone bridge in Beacon Hill, Empress Hotel, Parliament Buildings, The Wharf, and Chinatown.  Victoria's Chinatown is the 2nd oldest in North America.

The climate on the island rarely goes above 75 degrees or below 40 degrees.  A lot of movies are shot here, and the people are very friendly.  Who wouldn't be living in such a beautiful place!  :)

Our last pillow gift of the cruise was this adorable Disney charm - a reminder of the next incentive cruise in 2012.  I haven't earned it yet but the inscription on the charm reads "Nothing is Impossible if You Believe."  

Very fitting for me since I am still working towards earning this trip.  :)  I am very close and with a great ending month in June, I will be taking my family to Disney next spring!

Back from Alaska!

What a wonderful week in Alaska aboard the Celebrity Infinity!  Olivia and I decided that we could move to Alaska... for the summer.  :)  Kansas winters are harsh enough for me, thank you very much!

Hope you don't mind if I share some pictures of our trip:

Day 1:  Leaving Seattle

First night's pillow gift from Stampin' Up - isn't it cute!!!!

Hubba, hubba... Olivia and I loved the Alaskan Lumberjack Show in Ketchikan!  Teams compete against each other, and when they win they give a piece of wood to someone in the audience.  Olivia received the first piece of wood from our team and then had them sign it after the show.

The one thing I wanted to see most in Ketchikan... the totem poles and tribal art.  Each pole tells a story, and they are found throughout the town.

No visit to Juneau is complete without a trip to Mendenhall Glacier!

 

I'll share more photos tomorrow.  :)  It was a truly awesome vacation but I was missing the boys back home.  Now to unpack, get the house in order and start laundry...

Travel Fun Mini Scrapbook

My friend Diana made this travel scrapbook and shared it with me, and since I'm on the Alaskan cruise right now I thought I would share it with you.  :)
