I knew something was coming in the mail, but it's still always a surprise.  And the special touches that Stampin' Up does to make us feel special is priceless.  Lookee what was in my package:

It's a fan-shaped invitation this time.  I can't WAIT to find out what the rest of the night holds.  :)

Olivia was enjoying my fan, too.  But I had to cut her fun short, so I could put it with the rest of my Stampin' Up treasures.

Peek a boo Gift Bags

Remember this gift I showed you a couple of days ago?

Adorable, right?  Well, I talk a BIG game about how I am going to make them for Christmas presents this year.  Of course I ran out of time and didn't make hardly anything at all for gifts... still bummed about that... but my friend Lisa did.  Look at this:

 

Totally cute, right!!!  I am so impressed.  Lisa made these for her girls at work and who knows how many others she made.  These are just awesome and I am really kicking myself for not doing more hand-made gifts this year.  Oh well... there is always next year.  :)

December Scrapbook Club

Yesterday I showed you my techniques cards for the month, so today I am going to share December's scrapbook layouts.

I had to have a Christmas theme for December.  :)  Lots of Big Shot dies were used on this page - the Stocking Die and Stocking Accessories, Scallop Square and the Tasteful Trims.

Our next scrapbook date is Sunday, January 8th at 2:00 PM.  You can attend the class for $10 or join my new scrapbook club.  I need six members to make a club.  Each member of the club would commit to placing a $40 order each month and then take turns being hostess.  On their month as hostess, they would receive $40 minimum in hostess goods.  All members would also get to make their monthly layouts for free!  :)

December Techniques Club

Every 1st Monday of the month, a group of gals come to my house for my Techniques Club.  I teach two techniques and they make two projects - typically these projects are cards w/matching envelopes.  Everyone can use more cards, right?  :)

Here's what we made in December:

Painted Glimmer Paper and Christmas Origami Tree - both CASE'd from my fellow demonstrators on Stampin' Connections.  It's an awesome online community for demonstrators!

This is one of those techniques that make me so mad that I didn't think to ever try it first.  :)  I used the Aqua Painters and Ink Refills to color the Silver Glimmer Paper.  It covers easily and dries quickly and is sooooo pretty in real life!

This fun 3-d origami is easier than it looks.  There are actually four seperate pieces - so once you make the first one the other three are a piece of cake!  :)

PEO Stamp Club Christmas Party

Another gift exchange... I have been stamping with this group of ladies for the last couple of years.  They are so fun!  Several were beginners when we started with the stamp club but now they are all pros.  :)  This Christmas we decided to celebrate with a hand-stamped gift exchange.   Everyone was so nervous about their gifts but they were all WOWzers!
