Birthday Stamp a Stack

I am having two stamp a stack's this month.  My first one was my Birthday Stamp a Stack.  The second one is Sunday, April 29th from 2-4 pm at my house.  We will be making All Occasions Stamp A Stack.  You'll make 10 cards (2 each of 5 designs) with matching envelopes for $20.  Attend for 1/2 price when you place a $25+ order the day of class or bring a friend that's new to me.  RSVP deadline is 4/25/12.

Here's what we made at the first stamp a stack:

Something for the kiddos created with the Many Mustaches single stamp set.  :)

A card for the dudes... used the the Top Note die cut and the two scallop punches to create a weathered, denim look.

Mixed Bunch card... I know it says "Thank You" but we used the "Happy Birthday" stamp from the same set, Perfectly Penned.

Another option using the Mixed Bunch stamp set.  This is a must-have set because it is so versatile and there is a coordinating Blossom Punch that makes creating cute projects a SNAP!

This last card uses a couple Sale-a-bration products and the Petite Pairs stamp set.

Happy Easter - He is Risen!

I wanted to share this gorgeous sugar egg that my friend Mary Jo created for me.  She is such a crafty girl!  I hope she tries out for the Artisian Award team at Stampin' Up this year.  She is incredible!

 

 

And how about a quick card share... this Easter card features the single stamp Easter Dove from the Occasions Mini Catalog.  It's perfect for Easter but a great year round stamp, too.

I hope you are spending time with your loved ones this Easter weekend.  My dad and his wife came for a visit yesterday.  They live 4 1/2 hours away from me, and I never get to spend as much time as I would like with them.  :)

And the cousins enjoyed an Easter egg hunt... not too old yet to hunt for candy and money.  :)

Okay, so I know it's supposed to April Showers bring May Flowers... but... We had a week long rain last week and a gorgeous weekend here in Kansas.  There are flowers popping up everywhere!  How about some flower-filled craft projects:

Crosses of Hope

I loved this set the first time I looked through the 2011-2012 Idea Book & Catalog.  I think it is perfect for Easter as well as other religious events (baptism, confirmation, wedding, etc.)

Topeka Card Class

Last week I had my bi-monthly card class in Topeka at St. Peters Church.  If you want to catch the next one, then mark your calendars for May 24th from 6-8 pm.  Our theme in May will be All Occasion Cards but we will definitely have a focus on weddings and funerals.  Sounds like a movie from the 80's!

Here's what we made this time:

Our theme was springtime cards.  We always make 8 cards (2 each of 4 designs) with matching envelopes for $16.

Easter card with the Easter Dove single stamp (you've seen this one before.)

Another one you've seen... the bunny bottom created with punches has been a customer favorite!

Graduation card created with the Daring Adventure stamp set.  Some of the ladies are using it for a retirement card, too.  Could also work for a new job or other accomplishment.

And then the final card was this sweet butterfly creation.  It was a happy day kind of card - great for birthdays or just because.
