Dresden Die Cut

One of our new dies in the Occasions Mini Catalog is the Dresden die.  It was specifically designed for fabric and quilting.  So how about a few samples:

A cute sample using Designer Series Papers... so it is versatile enough for papercrafting projects, too!

Sew-Crafty Mary Jo!

My friend and downline member Mary Jo is SOOOO  crafty!  Look at what she created and GAVE to me at my last downline meeting:

This is our yummy, yummy Spice Cake fabric.  You are going to flip out when you see what these are used for!!!

A set of oven mitts!!!

 And a set of bowl holders - perfect for when you are microwaving a bowl of soup or leftovers and it's too hot to handle.  I am so in love with this!  Wouldn't it make an adorable housewarming, wedding or bridal shower gift - add a recipe scrapbook created with the Spice Cake papers or maybe a coordinating apron???  Oh the possibilities....

Leadership Bag and Make and Take Surprises

I have to admit up front that every Stampin' Up event I look forward to the "bag" that we are going to receive.  This year did NOT disappoint!  I love our fabric bags created with new patterns from the upcoming 2012-2013 Catalog.

The outside "wrap" on the bag unbuttons and can be turned about for another pattern.  The bag itself is reversable, too.  Shut the front door!  It is so CUTE in person!  :)

The coordinating notebook holder was our surprise gift at Make and Takes.  This is what our tables looked like when we arrived.

I love the way we are spoiled with gifts at Stampin' Up events.  Do you see the charm?  And the tag created with My Digital Studio that is signed by Shelli Gardner!

Did you notice the little red gift box at the top of each place setting?  It's our Fancy Favor box - cut with the Big Shot.  Inside are yummy chocolates - made by an employee of Stampin' Up!  There were 1400 attending Leadership, and we received 3 different kinds of chocolate - WOW - that is a lot of home made candy!

This was a great group of ladies to hang out with for a few hours.  :)  We had 9 make and take projects - I think I finished only 3 of them.  I prefer to visit and take pictures during make and takes.  Now to finish all those packets from last week... and previous years!  They seem to collect a little dust before they get made if they make it back to my studio.

My FAVE New Product!

It was hard to pick a favorite new product from the Holiday Mini Catalog but here it is... the Simply Scoring Tool!  I've had other score tools, and this is "hands-down" a great choice!  There are score lines every 1/4", and it comes with a metal scoring tool that won't wear down and place markers.  You can order additional place markers if you want more than three.  (I did.  LOL)

There's a compartment at the top of the tool for storing place markers, extra stylus, bone folder... M&M's??

This bag was designed specifically to tote the Simply Scored Tool but I think you could use it for just about anything.  It's available for demonstrators only and was first unveiled at Convention 2011.  My friend and downline Deb brought this one back for me.  Isn't that SWEET!!!

Purse Makeover by Stampin' Up!

Our subdivision is having a neighborhood garage this weekend, so Olivia has been going through room looking for things to sell.  :)  One of the things she brought out was this adorable purse.

Well, I should say that I think it's adorable.  Olivia thinks that a purse with High School Musical emblazoned across the front of it is "kid-ish" and she's going to be in middle school next year.  She did say that she still loved everything else about the purse but she just didn't want the words on it. 

So... it was my Big Shot and Circle Dies to the rescue.  Check out this fancy flower purse:

Pretty cute!  I think I may need to borrow it now.  :)

Flower Folds XL Die

I've been making a few more Big Shot flowers... this time with the Flower Folds XL die. 

I starched this one before I put it together.  It's single layers but really fluffy.  I love it!

Fun at the Pink Zebra

Last week was my first monthly class at the Pink Zebra in downtown Bonner Springs, KS.  We had a great turnout for the Ladies Night Out!  Thank you to everyone who came out and especially to those ladies who made the Vintage Brooch with me.

My New Purse and Shamrock Flower

So I've been struggling carrying a purse with my walker, or I've been making my kids carry it for me.  Olivia doesn't mind so much but my 16 year old son doesn't really appreciate carrying my purse around.  :)   My husband isn't much of a fan either.   So I had to - yes had to - buy a new sling-style purse.

I picked a colorful one, didn't I?  I added the green flower with the Flower Folds XL die.  It will be great for St. Patricks Day.  I made a couple of them to sell at Barley's Brewhaus next week.  Come by and see us in Shawnee on March 15th from 6-8 pm.

I'm working on a few others to sell that night, too.  Olivia has some really cute shamrock fabric that I may need to steal.  :)

A New Quilt by Amy Johnson

Amy Johnson is one of my uplines and a very talented stamper AND seamstress!  This is one of her newest creations, and she is giving it away to someone in her downline.  Wowza!  You get chances in her drawing with your sales and recruits, so I'm crossing my fingers that this is a good Sale-a-bration for me.  If you want information on hostess or business opportunities, please contact me!

WOW Fabric Samples from Leadership

Shelli Gardner, CEO and co-founder of Stampin' Up, issued a challenge to the creative staff at the home office to create projects using products from the new Occasions Mini Catalog.  Here are some of the amazing works of art on the WOW wall at Leadership.
