February Scrapbook Layout - Feel the Love!

Each month I have at least one scrapbook class that I call my Layout of the Month.  The layout for February was... a Valentine's day theme, of course.  :) 

Here's a close up of the trinket key embellishment.  The stamp image is from You're a Gem.

Another close-up of the focal point on page 2 of the layout.  I've been using this combination in several of my Valentine's classes.  I just love it.  :)

My next scrapbook class is Sunday, March 4th from 2:00-4:00 PM.  The layout is $10 per person or you can get it for 1/2 price when you place a $25+ order the day of class or bring someone that's new to me.  RSVP deadline is 3/1/12.

Vintage Scrapbook Layout

Each month I offer a scrapbook layout class.  Next offering is Sunday, February 5th at 2:00 PM.  Please RSVP to shellyluvsstamps@earthlink.net by 2/1/12 if you would like to join us. Cost is $10 per 2 page layout.  Class fee is 1/2 price if you place a $25+ order the day of class.

Here's what we made in January:

I think it has a very vintage feel to it but would lend itself to elegant occasions or everyday black and white photos.  I used the Mocha Morning Speciality papers which are foiled and flock - very pretty in person!  My assistant Olivia (smile) helped me cut the Little Leaves sizzlets from our Brushed Gold Cardstock and Fancy Flowers.  Notice I also used the Embossing Folders for the flowers to give them texture and dimension.  I found this layout on our demo website - Stampin' Connections - access to this website is just one of the awesome perks of being a demo!!!!

December Scrapbook Club

Yesterday I showed you my techniques cards for the month, so today I am going to share December's scrapbook layouts.

I had to have a Christmas theme for December.  :)  Lots of Big Shot dies were used on this page - the Stocking Die and Stocking Accessories, Scallop Square and the Tasteful Trims.

Our next scrapbook date is Sunday, January 8th at 2:00 PM.  You can attend the class for $10 or join my new scrapbook club.  I need six members to make a club.  Each member of the club would commit to placing a $40 order each month and then take turns being hostess.  On their month as hostess, they would receive $40 minimum in hostess goods.  All members would also get to make their monthly layouts for free!  :)

November Scrapbook Layout

It was Scrapbook Sunday at my house yesterday.  Here's the layout that we made:

We used the Big Shot to cut leaves and emboss them with the Vintage Embossing Folder.  The colors are Cherry Cobbler, Cajun Craze, More Mustard, Old Olive and Whisper White.

The photographs don't pick it up, but we blasted all the leaves with "shimmer spray."  I mix our Shimmer Paint with alcohol in a spritz bottle.  It dries very quickly and is quite sparkly!  Very pretty in real life.  :)

Strength & Hope Campaign

It's been about a month since my 24-hour crop for hope at the Circle S Ranch in Lawrence, but I realized I never showed you the stamp camp projects that were included in the registration fee.  Everyone who attended received the Strength & Hope stamp set (available til August 31st!) and completed these projects.

 

I am finalizing the details for my next 24-hour crop but you can "pencil-in" Friday, November 18th to Saturday, November 19th.  :)  I think I am planning a Christmas theme and projects... still deciding.

Cherish Family Layout

Recently, I shared this layout with my Tonganoxie stamp club ladies.  It's a fun and versatile layout, and great for framing or putting in your scrapbooks.

I used the Lovely Letters alphabet stamp set, large and small tag punches, several ribbons and great patterned paper.  The colors are Chocolate Chip, Marina Mist, So Saffron, and Certainly Celery.

I can't believe it's already time for my June classes and clubs!  This is the scrapbook layout we made this month.  I have to admit that it is PERFECT for my Alaska trip, so I'm going to change my title heading.  :)

In amongst all my gorgeous scenery pictures of Alaska, I also managed to sneak in a few pictures of projects posted in the Stampin' Up Hospitality Room on the ship.  Check out these adorable layouts!

Layout uses lots of circle punches and both the Pun Fun and Herb Expressions stamp sets.

Aren't these punch art bears so cute!  The layout also uses the Lovely as a Tree, Woodgrain and Word Play stamp sets.  I am definitely going to be CASEing those bears!
