Each month I teach a technique club class in my home in Edwardsville. We are just finishing up this round of club, so I'm accepting new members. If you are interested in joining, please send me an email at shellyluvsstamps@earthlink.net or call me at 913-441-6509.
Club members commit to spend $25+ per month each month of the club, and they take turns as hostess. On your turn as hostess, you are guaranteed a minimum of $25 in free hostess goodies of your choice. You also receive all catalogs as they are released and get to attend the monthly club classes for free! :)
Here's what we made this month:
The first card is called Chalked Embossing. We heat embossed the flower images in Whisper White and when cooled we chalked with Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Wild Wasabi chalks. Then we added extra detail with the Watercolor Pencils. It's very soft and pretty in person.
The second card is a patchwork/pinwheel card. I think it may be considered faux quilting - always a favorite of mine!
The "quilt" squares are punched with the 1 3/8" square punch and the 1 1/4" square punch, then they are layered on two pieces of 3x3 square pieces of cardstock. I should take a picture! :) I found the idea on Dawn Olchefske's blog, and she does have pictures if you want to check it out.
Hope you enjoyed my cards! Have a great week - shelly
